The Hyundai Inster has attracted a lot of attention

And the 2025 World Electric Vehicle winner is Hyundai Insta / Casper Electric.  Yes, the new Hyundai Inster won the World EV of the Year 2025 category recently announced at the NY Auto Show.  And, it was a close second to the Kia EV3 for overall World Car of the Year

And after it’s much hyped launch in Europe it’s about to arrive here in Australia.  It is worth the Hype, or will the price be beaten by the Chinese competition.

Back to Basics

Real buttons and no fluff on the inside, uncomplicated small car vibe.  It’s a great little city EV car that can handle those back streets. Easy to park but it can also handle those small country trips as well.

The EV cross version has already been released in some markets, more off road SUV style, different colour schemes and of course a massive roof rack on the top as well.

And you’re going to love this, it’s got V2L. In fact the whole Insta range has got V2L. It’s even got a 2.40 power point on the inside for you to plug any device in.

There’s already been some sightings around the traps and checkout Neerav’s first look. He’s spied a couple around town.

By the looks of things from these official leaks, the Australian pricing looks to be right on the money. Perfect for Australia and perfectly positioned for the Australian market.
