Almost brand new

We headed down to Canberra, the nation’s capital, and met with John, the owner of this incredible EX30. He’s only taken delivery a couple of months ago, but he’s already decided to move it on and they have listed it on the AmazingEV website.

We didn’t want to take it to start with. We didn’t think it qualified as a used EV, it looks so new. It’s only done around 2,200 km. It’s so new, like a dealer demo. Built and sold in 2024 so only three or four months old..

The owner says, "Not big enough for his family"

He’s decided it’s not quite the car for him, not big enough for his growing family. He knew that when he ordered it, sight unseen, back in March this year when orders opened, but was very keen on the specifications.

But living in Canberra, you won’t have to pay stamp duty if you buy this particular one. And for an almost new car it will be less than cost for delivery in Canberra at the moment. They’re not expecting deliveries any time soon just in Canberra. Stamp Duty, which for our overseas viewers, is a transaction cost here in Australia when you buy a car in most state, and can add up to $2.5k.

That means it’s going to be a much better price than a new one bought in the rest of Australia.

Scandinavian Influence, Californian design, Chinese built!

Inside, pure Scandinavian design, of course. I can ask, but… Design in California, But, you know, built in China like everything else that’s quality these days. This one actually has a key as well. It’s proximity key, walk up and the car will open, lights turn on and the car is open. An EV with a key. And that’s got a very nice custom made leather cover, John’s had made.

Not many around so head down to Canberra for a look

This is so new it’s one of the first Volvo EX30’s available on the used market, and you can check out the listing searching Volvo EX30 on AmazingEV.com.au.

Then contact the Owner, John, come to Canberra for a test drive and I’m sure he will be happy to accept any reasonable offer.
